Another poor month, what is going on Arsene?

To many questions to be answered in what is going on at our club and nothing has or is changing. The month of January for us was so poor as mentioned it my blog last month and that has now been followed up by an even worse February. Two wins from four games and those two wins were against Hull City at home and non-league Sutton United in the FA Cup. Has Wenger finally lost control of the players, obviously I don’t know but looking from the outside he may well have done. If that is the case, then even the manager has to go if he can’t control them or you get rid of the players or players causing trouble. Whoever they are!

Champions League Quarter Final qualification has now gone then after that defeat in Germany. Only a miracle could change that but it wouldn’t surprise me if we actually go and win the game on the night. Putting in a performance when it doesn’t matter. That seems to be our way at the moment but that is not going to stop us following our team and our AFC Predictions will continue until the end of the season. Sat 4th Mar 17.30 Liverpool (Away) Premier League – RESULT 3-1 LOSS
Liverpool – Firmino (9), Mane (40), Wijnaldum (90)
Arsenal – Welbeck (57)

Have Sanchez and Wenger fallen out?

Poor poor showing and Wenger left out our best player as well? What is going on at our club again? Why was Alexis Sanchez not in the starting line up? Who knows, but I cannot see Sanchez being at our club come the summer now. All clubs have players who have training ground bust ups, that’s nothing new. In some ways it’s good that people show some passion, but when it then affects the players and the team’s performance something needs sorting? Our predictions before the game were:
David : 2-2 draw
Jason : 2-0 Liverpool
Alex : 2-1 Liverpool
Lewis : 1-1 draw
Vas : 1-2 Arsenal

Tue 7th Mar 19.45 Bayern Munich (Home) Champions League – RESULT 5-1 LOSS (10-2 agg)
Arsenal – Walcott (20)
Munich – Lewandowski (55 pen), Robben (68), Costa De Souza (78), Vidal (80, 85)

What can I say that hasn’t been said since the end of the game last night and all of today? Okay, we started brightly and two players tried to put some effort in! Two players! Not even worth a mention but thought I’d mention one little positive. After that we were a disgrace, it’s not very often I use that word but there is no other way to describe it in my opinion. I can only add other words to the performance, like embarrassing, shameful as we just gave up and seemed happy as everyone just laughed at us. So much for our predictions before the game:
David : 2-1 Arsenal
Jason : 2-1 Arsenal
Alex : 1-1 draw
Lewis : 1-3 Munich
Vas : 1-1 draw

Sat 11th Mar 17.30 Leicester City (Home) Premier League – POSTPONED

Sat 11th Mar 17.30 Lincoln City (Home) FA Cup – RESULT 5-0 WIN
Arsenal – Walcott (45), Giroud (53), Waterfall (58 og), Alexis (73), Ramsey (75)
Lincoln –

Our predictions before the game are:

Gunner for life

David : 4-1 Arsenal
Jason : 3-0 Arsenal
Alex : 4-0 Arsenal
Lewis : 2-1 Arsenal
Vas : 2-0 Arsenal

Sat 18th Mar 12.30 West Brom (Away) Premier League – RESULT 3-1 LOSS
West Brom – Dawson (12, 75), Robson-Kanu (56)
Arsenal – Alexis (15)

Some of the worst defending I have ever seen by an Arsenal team in all the years of watching them. Set piece marking at this level is just basic, it shouldn’t have to be something you even think about, it should come naturally. However, when do you come up against the likes of Stoke City and West Brom you need to be on your guard that little bit more. Safe to say we weren’t, so our predictions before the game were well off:
David : 1-1 draw
Jason : 0-2 Arsenal
Alex : 1-2 Arsenal
Lewis : 1-1 draw
Vas : 0-2 Arsenal

What did she wear? She wore, she wore, She wore a yellow ribbon, She wore a yellow ribbon, In the merry month of May! And when, I asked, Oh why she wore her ribbon, She said it’s for The Arsenal, And we’re going to Wembley! Wembley, Wembley, We’re the famous Arsenal, And we’re going to Wembley!
